The Seat and Floor boards
The seat boards are laminated Western Red Cedar for strength and lightness. Notice the "Lift the Dot" fasteners. They hold the seats in place in the front and make for a quick removal for travel. The floorboards are attached to aluminum tubing that clip into HDPE like the stringers do.
Combing
The combing is laminated white oak. The large opening makes it comfy for the legs, but might not be so good for those who roll, or for very rough sea conditions. Great for tooling around estuaries etc. though!
