We needed to squeeze more space out of the shop so it was time to figure out how to free up the space thetwo kayaks were hogging. The solution we chose was to hang them from the ceiling.
The straps are made from PVC and the grommetted ends have a double layer of fabric. Inside is a patch of velcro. This helps keep the straps around the boat and in place until you can get the grommet onto the carabiner.
