The Ragtime Phoenix - A Skin-On-Frame Canoe
I was not able to get pictures while I was sailing since I was too busy trying to keep afloat.
I finally got it out into the water with the sail on it. It went about as expected. In other words, it really does need a deck. The freeboard is so low that it easily takes on water. Luckily I have the old combing from version 1 and some extra nylon to make a deck with.
There are also modifications needed for the rudder; the foot pedals come out and will be replaced with a Norwegian tiller and the kick up rudder lines will be modified.
This will take some time.
