Paddles

It's been raining outside, and I'm taking a few days off before I skin the boat. In the meantime I almost forgot -- I'm going to need a paddle! This is a roughed out "West Greenland" style. Very narrow and long, as apposed to the more familiar river kayak paddles that are a lot broader. All the 'experts' seem to prefer this style.

Yes, it's not all that beautiful but it is also not finished. And it's my first paddle and kind of a test model (like the boat). The next one will be better. The dark tip is what it looks like wet.

Ok, enough procrastinating. It's time to get this 'yak skinned! »
