Today is the day! We lay out the 9 oz. nylon over the frame and staple it to the ends. Then it's back to the sawhorses to staple and stretch the bottom, followed by stapling and stretching the decks.

As I was starting to skin the deck it was plain to see that the part right in front of the coaming was not going to lay right. A quick fabrication of a new piece lashed into place saved the day. Interesting the flexibility in this type of construction.

The skin is stapled onto the frame and both hull and deck are tight as a drum.

It is a full day of sewing. As the sewing begins, the staples come out. The pity here is that by the time you finish sewing, you are finally getting the hang of it.
