Painting

[Oct. 14]
It's been a 4 day push to get the skin on, sewn up, and not painted. After 3 coats of oil based polyurathane, we have a boat. I'll finish the coaming and let the whole thing dry a few days. The acid test is coming soon!

[Oct 15, 2004]
Finally painted, the 'yak now needs the coaming. And, oh yes - I have to get racks for my car because I have no way to get it to the water! Notice the twine tying the kayak to the saw horses. The boat just looks so darn fast that it should be tied down. ;-)
